To Bad You Can't See...

more through the front windows. The door was locked today as we stopped by. Tomorrow there will be a better update.

hmm, you don't have a key of your own house? I am confused now.

The new house is still 'technically' owned by the builder. We have to go get a key to enter and walk through the house up until we take possession of it. It's locked to the general public by the builder to there's no vandalism or whatever else done to the house out of their control.

aaaah, we do it the other way around usually: we own the house or land property so we have the keys and we have to arrange that the builders have access.

Well, we renovated an existing house so that's different anyway. I guess for new houses from scratch that both systems would exist in Belgium, depending whether you are a landlord ordering builders to build a house on your land, or whether you are buying a ready house from a building company. I am not sure though.
